Animals have always been my passion, but I had a difficult time channeling that passion into a career. Obtaining my undergraduate degree at NC State University allowed me to explore both my passion for animals as well as my interest in and love of filmmaking. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Studies with a concentration in Film as well as a minor in Zoology in 2016, I still found myself working in pet retail. Then, I stumbled across the field of medical transcription and instantly knew that it would be the perfect career for me–especially if I was able to find a job in veterinary transcription! I enrolled in an extensive Medical Transcription Editing program and graduated in 2021. I then worked in medical transcription for a short period before joining the transcription team at Complete Pet Care in the spring of 2022.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography, horseback riding, and snuggling with my two cats.
