Rachael H.
I was born and raised here in Raleigh, North Carolina. I grew up next to an American Kennel Club Boxer breeder, so I have been around animals from a young age. That is where my passion started; it only got stronger as I grew up. I always knew I wanted to work with animals, so I started volunteering with Saving Grace Animals for Adoption and Independent Animal Rescue. As I got into college, I knew I wanted to be more involved which is when I started an internship in South Carolina at the Florence Animal Hospital. I graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I plan to continue my education in veterinary medicine in the near future. In my free time, I like to hike, volunteer, and play soccer.
